What Do YOUR Days Look Like?

Wow. It was never my intention to let a week go by without posting something. My first failure of the year. I guess I just wasn't feeling inspired last week.

I have a question for all you stay-at-home moms out there. I am big on schedules. In fact, it probably took a good nine months of being a stay-at-home mom to get into a groove of how my day should go. For example, here is a typical day for us.

7:20am – Get Pumpkin Pie up. Feed her breakfast, get her dressed, let her play a bit

8:20am – Crib time. Pumpkin Pie plays in her bed while I do devotions, write and putter around the house.

9:30-10:00am – Get Pumpkin Pie out of her crib. Leave for some kind of errand.

11:20am – Lunch for Pumpkin Pie.

11:45am – Lunch for me. (Right now I find it easier to feed her, then feed myself. I'm hoping that one day we can all have lunch together.)

12:30pm – Video time. Elmo, Blues Clues, whatever I've gotten from the library.

1:00pm – Pumpkin Pie goes down for a nap. I then check email, Facebook and blogs.

3:00pm – Watch the Ellen show. Pumpkin Pie wakes up sometime in this hour and gets a snack.

4:00pm – Play time while watching Qubo.

5:00pm – Make, eat and clean up dinner.

6:00pm – Bath time, jammie time.

6:45pm – Bedtime milk.

7:00pm – Pumpkin Pie goes to bed. I watch my shows and enter blog giveaways.

9:00pm – To bed for me. Read.

10:00pm – Lights out.

Is this schedule totally crazy or neurotic? Do any of you have schedules like this? What do your days look like? I'm always wondering if I'm missing the boat on something, or if this is a normal day in the life of a toddler.

  2. I would say it's pretty normal. My day looks much like that except we don't watch tv in our house so usually I take an hour (split up over the day though) to do an educational activity like puzzles, flash cards, colors, tracing letters with our fingers, calandar, numbers etc.
