Product Review and Giveaway: Yoplait Greek Yogurt

It's been so long since I've blogged! There's a reason...I'm expecting Pumpkin Pie #2! And I am NOT the best pregnant woman. The first trimester was R O U G H, but I'm now 21 weeks and I think I have my life back in order. As my first blog in awhile, I thought I'd do a product review and giveaway!

Yoplait through MyBlogSpark provided me with two cups of Yoplait Greek Yogurt. I was excited to try it because I'm always looking for good snacks to eat, which help ward off morning sickness. Yoplait Greek Yogurt boasts double the protein of other yogurts, so I thought it might help. According to the website, it's also the only greek yogurt fortified with vitamins A and D. That's got to be good for the baby!

I tried strawberry and honey vanilla. I was really surprised with the consistancy of the yogurt. You can definitely tell something is different. It is much thicker. The strawberry felt kind of grainy in my mouth, but other than that just tasted like any other strawberry yogurt. The honey vanilla was just as thick, but not grainy, in my opinion. And the taste was delicious. Light and sweet.

My only complaint is how expensive the product is. It was good and all, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to spend over $1 on a carton when I can get regular yogurt for less than 50 cents. I've never been brand loyal; I've always been wallet loyal. If I had a coupon and the yogurt was on sale then I'd go for it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, even if it does have twice the protein.

And now, for my first giveaway! You can win a "Nourish Your Inner Goddess" prize pack. To win, simply leave a comment with your email address saying you follow my blog! This giveaway will end on Friday, June 4 at 11:59pm. The winner will be selected at random. Good luck!

Everything provided for this Spark was provided by Yoplait through MyBlogSpark.
