Good News: I'm Not So Bad

It's Week Two of One Year to a {more} Organized Life from Unsolicited Advice.  And for her week two assignment, she's provided a worksheet to help you figure out what the bare minimum is for each day.  We're talking personal hygiene and feeding your kids three meals.  And maybe drinking some water.

What I've learned this week is that I'm not so bad off in the organization area, if we're talking bare minimum.  I have a great little routine down.  Up at 6:15, shower/dress/make-up, feed the baby, feed the girl, etc.  I clean up the kitchen during Pumpkin Pie's breakfast each day.  (That is, put dishes away from the night before.)  Laundry is completely done every Monday, so we're not hurting in the clean clothes area. 

But I feel like that's all I do.  I'm still looking forward to living beyond the bare minimum.  Another good website I like to follow is  Once we move to the new place, I'm really going to implement a lot of her principles.  She has such good ideas on how to prevent your house from becoming a huge disaster zone.  We all know how overwhelming it is once it reaches that level.

  1. Wow. You're my hero. :) I'm trying to figure out when is the best time to schedule in "clean up kitchen" time.

    I really can't wait to get to some deeper organization. But I figured I should prolly just keep my head above the water first. :P
