A full year ago I read The Reluctant Entertainer by Sandy Coughlin, and it planted a tiny seed of hospitality in my heart. I have done nothing since then to make it grow, but it’s still there, waiting to be watered. I’d love to have our home known as a haven of hospitality, but my shyness and general feelings of ineptness have prevented me from branching out.
This book is a remedy for that. I need to read it again. I’ve since loaned it out, but I hope to get it back someday to refuel my hospitality endeavors. It is chock full of ideas and encouragement, and if you’ve ever wondered how to dive into the world of hospitality, this book is an excellent starting point.

Also, Sandy Coughlin is one of the original 31-Day-ers, and is continuing the tradition with 31 Days of Warm Connections over on her blog. You should check it out.
