Day 31. The Sisterchick Series by Robin Jones Gunn

Day 31!  Can you believe it?  I’ve really enjoyed this project, if only for the sense of purpose it gave me this month.  I hope you found at least one book that you might be interested in.  There is a lot of good stuff out there.

My final recommendation goes to my girl Robin.  The Sisterchick series could really be called eight stand alone books, as each story doesn’t really interact with each other.  They are stories of mid-life mamas going on international adventures with one of their best friends.  The stories go to Finland, Hawaii, Mexico, New Zealand, France, Italy, England and the Netherlands.  I’m a hard-core homebody, but each of these stories makes me wonder if I’ll ever go on a trip of this caliber someday.  Robin does an excellent job of writing about other countries.  Her descriptions act as a little travel bug that will probably leave you with an invisible bite mark.

Thanks for sticking with me these 31 days, friends!  Are there any books that I missed?  Let me know!

  1. Thanks for turning me onto Robin Jones Gunn, I always love getting a new author to read. I made a list of some of the other books, too, and will be reading them as time goes along.
